Harajuku Lovers Fragrance Giveaway Winner

Congratulations to Mary Anne for winning the Harajuku Lovers Fragrance Giveaway. Thanks again for everyone who participated as it is my first time hosting something like this. I look forward to being able to host more in the future but we'll see how that goes!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

Ah! I have things to do as I will be hosting tonight's dinner but I can not step away from this little darling. Watching this little pet of muscle just entrances me and evaporates my stress...

Oh yes, I must return to the roasting of turkey and sweeping of floors!

A Dress Made of Clouds

Source: The Avenue A

All I have to do is add a tight leather jacket and I think I can still sport this in the ever growing cold weather.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

Yo, I wanna wax poetic but I'm not that eloquent. So I'm going to share with you something more powerful than I can ever hope to write at this current junction of my life.

Our Deepest Fear

By Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.

We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.

Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others. ♥

The negative/overwhelming emotions have been stifling my creative process and I've been letting myself get caught up in this turmoil. I didn't want to unleash all kinds of emo here but I really need to get this off my chest, embrace my feelings so that I can get it all out of my system. I have some great people around me and I love that I have their support through this time. So for that, I want to give them kitteh huggles.
